"This place is a gift! Quiet, clean, and calm, a beautiful space for babies to play and parents to take a breather. Came with my 7 month old and she loved it! Coffee was delicious, the snacks were tasty. Special shoutout to the washrooms - not only did they have change tables, but they also had baby seats to secure kids while parents use the washroom. They even had spare diapers and wipes available! The staff was kind, and this truly felt like such a comfortable space. Can’t wait to go back!"

"Great soft play for kids younger than 4, I love the fact that it has a bar so you can enjoy the coffee while watching your kids play. Very clean bathroom stocked with diapers which is a very nice addition. Coffee tasted great - amazing experience all in all."

"Amazing local kid friendly cafe. Great coffee, sandwiches, kid friendly snacks with gluten free options. Best of all there's a massive play area for the kids! I can finally sit and enjoy my coffee while they're enjoying themselves. Definitely my new go to coffee spot, can't recommend it enough!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bean Bag Play Café is such a gem in Wellington West. A thoughtfully designed play space for little ones and a place where parents can enjoy genuinely great coffee and locally baked treats—yes please. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and clearly designed with both kids and caregivers in mind. The customer service is lovely, and the attention to detail really shines. Even the washroom gets five stars: baby change table, toddler chair, diaper genie, diapers, and wipes—everything you could possibly need. Parking is easy too, with plenty available on Wellington Street and the surrounding side streets. I’ve never had trouble finding a spot, even with all the snow. Kids are happy, parents are caffeinated, and I’ve already purchased a membership."

"Honest review of a highly anticipated place I’ve been looking forward to visiting! My first impression was that it was smaller than the photos on website and Instagram, and with that came a little bit of overcrowding. The staff that greeted us at the cash was very kind and welcoming, same with the other staff at the play area, service was excellent. I’m not personally from the neighbourhood and I realize it might be the norm, but a 15$/hr pricing is in my opinion a bit high for the amount of space and toys it offered. My friend and I ended up spending an extra 20$ for a latte, matcha and cookies, which were good however nothing shocking, similar to Bridgehead quality. Now with the play area, while nice I did realize that it felt slightly crowded with the amount of kids allowed in. Parents are also allowed in, which made the already small space feel even more crowded. Perhaps having a smaller cap for toddlers vs younger babies, since they don’t move around as much. We went after the snowstorm so there were lots of boots by the baby gate, which only had a small shoe mat, and it made the entire area dirty and very wet, my socks ended up getting wet before even going in the play area. Overall I would come back for the occasional play and enjoy a good snack and drink, but it wouldn’t be my first choice. It’s still a great little place for families in the neighbourhood if there’re no early ons or other facilities available. :)"

"We absolutely adore the Bean Bag Play Cafe! I get to enjoy a truly delightful coffee while my kids have a blast in the play area, surrounded by toys and other kids. The staff are incredible, they are always kind and welcoming! They genuinely want everyone to have a good time in their cafe. I’m so happy I stumbled upon this really special family friendly place. We’re so lucky to have such a fantastic play cafe in Ottawa."

"Coffee was good and the cookie I had was delicious. The play area is perfect for little children and my 2.5 year old had MORE than enough he could do. Loved how you can sit and supervise your child from the boarder if you want. We had a blast! It was clean and stimulating for both babies and toddlers. I only give it a 4 star (with hopes they take this feed back and make improvements to make it a 5 star)... there is no where to really place wet /dirty boots and big coats for adults it is limited for even the littles. This made huge puddles everywhere and I even had to change my kids socks half way because he of course stepped in a puddle when we used the toilet. Ideally they will make a proper cubby/boot area at the front to avoid this moving forward since we live in a city that snow and slush are more than half the year. They have a small area but it isnt enough for even one adults boots and is in front of the play area and bathroom making a huge gross mess to walk through. Other than that it was lovely and I would return. Oh AND the washroom was super equipped with everything you need to change diapers and use the toilet. Loved the stool for toddler and both the change table and toddler seat so parents can use the toilet without fear of toddler escaping. Plus they are so kind fot having spare diapers if you forgot one (we had our own but its a thoughtful feature)."

"Took my daughter (21 months) here for the first time today. It's a great little place to bring young children to play while you enjoy a coffee/tea/latte. It's a relaxed environment that incorporates small details that cater to parents of young children more than a lot of other places (e.g., delicious lattes, bathroom stocked with diapers and a potty seat). I found it clean and welcoming, and there were more than enough toys to keep my daughter entertained for an hour. I found the prices reasonable but would have liked a slightly longer booking (e.g., 1.5 hrs) to allow enough time to get food while we were there. It would have been difficult to fit lunch into the hour reservation and I don't know how easy it would have been to eat after our reservation because my daughter would have wanted to go back into the play area again. But overall, I would highly recommend!"
